Inspired by the art of 小野竹喬, the Ukiyo-e movement, and a 1991 Spanish letter I managed to find in a Japanese book during my stay in Fukuoka
Working with overlays and risographs to capture the stillness of everyday life, time, and repetition on the island of Itoshima, each image is altered to create a new memory and textile ethereal sense.
